Welcome back to another outfit round up. These are a sampling of the outfits I’ve worn in the last few weeks and am having trouble picking a favorite. I almost titled this post “Black, White and Gray” but I had to sneak in the olive skirt and I figured naming four colors was perhaps a bit too much for a title.

Anyway, I’m back with my bathroom mirror selfies/Instagram Outfit Roundup and hope you enjoy these looks. They’re all making me really excited for Fall, even though it’s still hot as the dickens outside. (Side note: what is a “dickens” and why is it so hot?! Just kidding – I found the answer here.)

Now, on to the outfits!

Y’all, I am LOVING this outfit right here. I call it: A short girl wears a midi skirt, part 2! I’ve written before about the difficulties short girls have with trends like midi skirts because they’re not made to fit our measurements, but I’ve had some luck here and there. This is a petite sized skirt from LOFT outlet and I still feel it’s about an inch too long, but that’s an easy fix. In the meantime, I still look super cute. And it totally makes me ready for fall!

Blouse: LOFT Outlet |  Necklace: via Le Tote | Skirt: J. Crew Outlet | Shoes: Old Navy

I picked up this blouse at the Loft Outlet this weekend when I did a little shopping for fall. I love these blouses because they’re lightweight, easy to clean, and fit great. And this floral pattern and dark colors are perfect for early autumn, before the weather starts to cool down too much.  You can check out my try-on session featuring this top in my style_by example highlights on Instagram. Loft is quickly becoming my go-to for cute and versatile work clothes!

Blouse: Banana Republic | Cardigan: via Stitch Fix | Necklace: via FabFitFun | Leggings: via Le Tote| Shoes: Old Navy

This is my go-to late summer/Fall/early winter outfit for when I just want to be comfortable and not put much thought into what I’m wearing. Clearly, I had a day like a few weeks ago so I wore this to work. Luckily it was casual Friday, because the air conditioner at my house wasn’t working, I just can’t bring myself to wash my hair for the fifth day in a row, AND I had a super early doctor’s appointment, so I just had to throw on something comfy like leggings and a cardigan!

Y’all, I was feeling **cute** when I wore this outfit! I had a medical appointment that morning with a new doctor and she couldn’t stop gushing about how much she liked my outfit and wanted me to come help her get dressed. This was right after I *thought* I had decided to quit blogging, but that was exactly what I needed to hear to keep this here project going. Anyway, I received this kimono in my summer @fabfitfun box and was really excited about it. I think it’s a little bigger on my small frame than I would ideally like but it’s still really cute! I have plenty of other ideas for this thing so it probably won’t be the last time you see it.
