And it looks pretty good! I was eyeing this skirt on ModCloth for several weeks because I really wanted it but I wasn’t sure how it would look on me. I figured it would be really long and make me look even shorter than I already am, so I scoured the comments for every post by a person that was remotely close to my size (and bonus if she included a picture) so I could get an idea of what it would look like, but I still wasn’t sure. After receiving an email that they were almost sold out, I took the plunge and ordered it. When I finally got it and tried it on, I was surprised to find that it fit so much better than I had expected. Score! And it has pockets! Double Score! And the skirt came with the belt. Triple Score!
I wore this several times over the weekend, first to lunch and for ice cream, and then to the grocery store. And it was really hot out this weekend so I’m officially ready for Fall.
The semester started with a bang and we definitely hit the ground running. I felt behind before we even really got started so I had to take some time to focus on catching up. I can tell this is going to be a busy 4 months for sure.
Also, I was so excited about how good this outfit looked – and how good it made me feel – that I took a ton of pictures so I apologize for all of these, but I’m just so cute I can’t even 😉

Thanks, Erin! Yeah, I’m super short, like just barely over 5 feet tall (technically, I’m 5′ 3/4″ but I round up to 5’1″) so I love it when I can wear average height clothing 🙂
