This was another clinic outfit. As an intern I was required to wear a name badge in the clinic so the staff would recognize that I was a part of the study and not just some random – yet always well-dressed – girl going into exam rooms to harass the patients. For that reason, I tried to plan my outfits with a blazer because it was easier to clip the badge to the lapel of the blazer instead of to my shirt, although, once I didn’t wear a blazer because it was just too dang hot so I clipped it to my necklace, and that worked pretty well. I paired this outfit with a summer-y coral blazer (see: last photo) but I really liked the outfit without out.
I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on my shoes this summer, and these were no exception. One of the nurses told a doctor that you can “always trust a girl with cute shoes” in reference to something I said. I suppose she’s right, because how can you be wrong when your shoes are so right? š

Thanks, Jess! Yeah, I’m loving this lace top; I’ve worn it in so many ways and it looks great. I can’t wait to get more looks with it up on the blog! Thanks for stopping by!
Love this look – it would be absolutely perfect for a day at the office!

Thanks, Kacie! I can’t wait to be back in an office so I can wear it again. As a grad student, my style has gotten way more casual than it used to be so I have a lot of pencil skirts hanging in my closet, just waiting to be worn again.
LOVE it–so chic and the pop of color in the blazer is so cute š Plus those shoes!
