I wore this on a recent date night which just happened to be a double-date, sushi night; my favorite kind! This is the first tank I’ve purchased in a while that hasn’t needed to have the shoulders taken up. I was surprised at how well it fits and excited that I could wear it out right away (usually I have to wait a week for it to come back from the tailor).
For as long as I can remember, I’ve only worn form-fitting shirts because I was convinced that anything else would look too big, like a kid playing dress up. But I’m slowly starting to embrace flowy, loose tops and I must admit that it looks pretty darn good. It’s a good thing to have a nice balance of loose and form-fitting.
The subtle pattern on this top is great, but for some reason, it reminds me of wood paneling!

Hahahaha that top does kind of look like wood! How funny is that?? It’s a gorgeous color and looks fabulous on you. I can’t stop staring at your kick-ass shoes! Love the two-toned color going on there!

I definitely agree – loose, flowy tops with fitted bottoms look great together! I love this outfit, so perfect for date night!!
