Here’s the next outfit in my Work From Home Wardrobe Series where I display the cute outfits I’m wearing while working from home during the coronavirus pandemic.
Working from home definitely has its advantages, like not having to style my hair or make up or even get dressed if I don’t want to, but y’all, sometimes I REALLY miss getting dressed for work. Today was one of those days, so I just went for it! I purchased these pants on a whim because they were on sale for $20, so I bought two pairs. The Facebook ad said they could be dressed up or worn casually so I decided to try them. So far, I’m loving them! They’re perfect for the office, as you can see, and even though I haven’t put together a casual outfit with them yet, I can definitely see the potential.

It feels weird wearing heels around my house, but it’s also kind of cool. Tomorrow (or even later this evening) I’ll go back to bare feet but for now, I’m feeling like a working professional again!

Happy Monday, folks. I hope your week is getting off to a great start!
If you’re anything like me, the days are starting to blend together so getting dressed takes a little more effort; those pajamas and leggings are just too darn comfortable. But if you’re like me, you’ve also been spending some of your time window shopping online! With spring in full bloom, I pulled my warm weather clothing out of storage and wanted to spruce it up a bit with a few new pieces so I took advantage of a LOFT outlet sale and purchased a few things. This top is one of them.
Top: Loft Outlet | Pants & Flats: Old Navy
I’m loving the color and fit, and these tiered bell sleeves are just the right amount of cuteness. I’m also loving the mix of feminine and casual that came from pairing this top with these bottoms. As much as I’ve loved being at home, I kind of can’t wait to get back out into society. I would definitely wear this outfit to the office, maybe on a casual Friday.
I loved this pattern so much that I got it in a shirt AND a dress! I’m actually seeing this a lot lately, where companies are making different articles of clothing out of the same pattern/fabric, and I like it. You get more options for your lifestyle, or if you’re like me, you just add several different pieces in the pattern. I think it works pretty well. I just have to remember now to wear the both in the same week 😉
Finally, an outfit post!
I’ve written about how my lifestyle has outgrown a lot of my clothes, so I’m working hard to clear my closet of any item that doesn’t make me feel like a million bucks every time I wear it. I’m also trying to live a more minimal life to focus more on experiences than material things. It’s harder than it should be due to the emotional value I place on things. I’m working on that, as well. I don’t think I’m quite ready for a capsule (or minimalist) wardrobe yet, but I might be moving more toward that direction.
