Finally, an outfit post!

I’ve written about how my lifestyle has outgrown a lot of my clothes, so I’m working hard to clear my closet of any item that doesn’t make me feel like a million bucks every time I wear it. I’m also trying to live a more minimal life to focus more on experiences than material things. It’s harder than it should be due to the emotional value I place on things. I’m working on that, as well. I don’t think I’m quite ready for a capsule (or minimalist) wardrobe yet, but I might be moving more toward that direction.

However, I do have some great clothes and I’m still putting together cute outfits. I’ve started documenting my (almost) daily outfits on Instagram & Facebook thanks to a big mirror in the restroom at work. I’ll admit that it’s not ideal. In fact, I hate that the only way I can get a halfway decent picture these days is in a bathroom with poor angles and harsh lighting. But I still haven’t quite figured out this whole adulting thing so I’m doing the best I can with what I have.

Anyway, on to the outfits! Here is about a week’s worth of cute outfits.

These pants are so soft, they’re seriously like butter! I got them in my latest Stitch Fix box and knew I would keep them the second I put them on. The color is great and they’re perfect for the office. I’m even looking forward to wearing them in the Fall.

This is one of my favorite dresses of all time, but especially for the summer. I usually wear it with a green cardigan and cute green heels, but it goes with so many colors that I decided to try it with purple. It’s perfecto! These are humming birds in this dress, if you couldn’t make out the pattern.

These pants are fun and a little edgy, I just love them! The day I wore them, I figured the AC would keep me cool but it was really warm in the office. They replaced the AC unit a few weeks before I wore this outfit so I thought I would be alright. Luckily, these pants are thin and light, so I wasn’t sweaty.

This is one of those repeat outfits that is so cute and comfortable that I’ve warn it many, many times in the last four years or so. I don’t think this is one that my lifestyle will outgrow because it’s perfect for the office, as well as more casual gatherings. And these shoes have little studs on them that sparkle in the light and definitely give me life!
