Welcome to the next outfit in my Work From Home Wardrobe Series where I display the cute outfits I’m wearing while working from home during the coronavirus pandemic.
Confession: I wore this yesterday (and all of my posts thus far have been a day behind) but I was feeling *cute*! I actually washed and styled my hair for real. Usually I just use a lot of dry shampoo & texturizing spray and run a curling iron through it really quickly but yesterday I went all in. I even did a full face of make up. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and it was a beautiful spring day so I figured why the hell not? Also, I had several video meetings and was tired of seeing a slobby version of myself on the camera. So, I wore a simple striped button-up from Old Navy that I tied at the bottom, which is an easy way to freshen up a button down. I rarely wear shoes when I’m at home but I’m realizing it’s about time to freshen up that at-home pedicure!

On a separate note, Happy birthday to my little dude, Sebastian! I can’t believe my sweet baby boy is now a threenager. He’s still a sweet little thing but he’s definitely got a lot of sass and attitude underneath all that sweetness. He’s becoming a handful, especially now that we’re all stuck at home all the time. We’re trying to find more fun things to do outside but he yearns to go to the playground and the museum and to do all the things he used to do. His few little lawn toys just aren’t cutting it. Anyway, be on the look out for me to share my birth story and some updates from his birthday. Happy birthday to my little dude!

I wore this outfit to my doctor’s appointment and learned that I should be eating more peanut butter, avocados, loaded baked potatoes, ICE CREAM AND COOK OUT MILKSHAKES.
A couple of my grad school friends came to visit me and we had a wonderful girls’ day out. We started with brunch & margaritas, then went to a wine tasting, then shopping, had “hipster” coffee, and ended the night at the best sushi place in town. And this is what I wore.
Flats in the winter because it felt like spring. NC just can’t make up it’s mind on whether or not we have seasons!
This was a January day when NC decided it actually was winter and gave us 20-degree weather. Some of you might laugh at me because you regularly deal with negative temps in the winter but this was really cold for us!
