Here’s the next outfit in my Work From Home Wardrobe Series where I display the cute outfits I’m wearing while working from home during the coronavirus pandemic.
My last post was about these awesome floral pants I purchased to spruce up my spring and summer wardrobe. I mentioned that I’ve already worn three or four outfits in the short time I’ve had them, and here is version two. This is a slightly more dressed up look than my last outfit and it might actually be my new favorite! You could dress it up even more with a nice nude heeled sandal — which I will definitely be doing when everything opens up and I wear this outfit as I venture back out into the world.

Here’s a closer look at my top. It’s the J. Crew Factory scallop cami that has been popular for a while now. I have it in two colors, this creamy white and a cobalt blue, and it’s a really nice way to dress up an outfit, even when you pair a denim jacket over it. I will also definitely be wearing this outfit to the office once it opens again.

I mentioned a few posts ago that I spent a little time doing some online shopping to spruce up my spring wardrobe a bit. One of my purchases was these floral pants. They’re high-waited, wide-legged, belted, thin and soft. I wasn’t sure how they would work for a shorty like me but they’re quickly becoming my go-to for working at home because they’re so comfortable and versatile. I can dress them up or down, and they’re pretty nice to just lounge in!

I think I’ve worn them in at least three or four different outfits now, so this is just the tip of the floral-pants iceberg! I’ll definitely be wearing these to the office when it opens back up.

Look, there’s really nothing special about this outfit and probably the only thing that makes it “blog worthy” is the fact that I’m wearing it. But I thought I would include it because this is one of my favorite tops EVEN THOUGH I seriously can’t tell if the stripes are black or navy blue. I *think* they’re navy blue but I keep wearing it like it’s black (with black pants and black cardigans) and the thing is, I don’t think anyone else can tell… or cares. So today I decided to wear it with a color that would look nice with either blue or black: this pretty purple cardigan!

I also keep wearing these jeans. It’s supposed to be pretty warm (but windy) today so I should probably change into some shorts or a cute skirt, but these jeans are actually really comfy so I don’t mind. Anyone else wearing their jeans (or tops, etc.) on repeat? 😀

Happy Monday, folks. I hope your week is getting off to a great start!
If you’re anything like me, the days are starting to blend together so getting dressed takes a little more effort; those pajamas and leggings are just too darn comfortable. But if you’re like me, you’ve also been spending some of your time window shopping online! With spring in full bloom, I pulled my warm weather clothing out of storage and wanted to spruce it up a bit with a few new pieces so I took advantage of a LOFT outlet sale and purchased a few things. This top is one of them.

I’m loving the color and fit, and these tiered bell sleeves are just the right amount of cuteness. I’m also loving the mix of feminine and casual that came from pairing this top with these bottoms. As much as I’ve loved being at home, I kind of can’t wait to get back out into society. I would definitely wear this outfit to the office, maybe on a casual Friday.
