I got this shirt in my latest Stitch Fix box and when I first tried it on, I thought it was way too big and figured I’d have to send it back. But then I tried everything on again – because I usually try things on several times before making a decision – and when I did, a lightbulb went off and I thought maybe it’s supposed to be a little oversized, and even if it isn’t, that’s what I’m telling myself anyway. I really like the abstract chevron pattern and the cut but I’ve always been afraid of the oversized trend because I’m so short that it if I’m not careful I look like I’m playing dress up in my mom’s clothes. But I added the belt and the wedges and I fell in love! So here’s one of my new favorite outfits. I’ve worn it to work already; luckily, the dress code for graduate assistants is pretty lax in my office.
Wearing that high of a heel to the office is fine because I sit at a desk most of the time, but I won’t pretend that heels (especially these) are super easy or fun to walk in so I changed into a more practical shoe for errands. I wore the little canvas shoes to the grocery store. I hope to do a whole post about the nostaliga of these little Ked-esque shoes… I love them!
Here’s the fun one!

Oooh, the print on your shirt is really fun! I’m glad you wound up keeping it, because it looks great on you!
I love the print on that shirt! I am excited to get my first Stitch Fix this month. I think mine is scheduled for the 9th. Can’t wait!!
I love oversized items, so comfy! You really styled this pretty top to perfection! And yay for Ked-like shoes, I’ve been living in mine this summer!!
