October is one of our favorite months, probably for all of the obvious reason (fall, Halloween, etc.) but also for some other, lesser known reasons. Since October is just around the corner, as in two days from now, I thought I would share a few of the reasons we perk up a little more around this time of year.
I get to play golf at my favorite course, Tobacco Road down in Sanford. My golf Meetup Group ends our season there each year. It’s consistently rated one of the best (and hardest) courses in the country, but with a little course knowledge its really not too difficult. It’s so unique and beautifully designed; it’s a masterpiece of the late great architect Mike Strantz. If you’re in the area its a must-play course.
