Earlier this year, I created a list of 19 things I wanted to do in 2019. As of mid-June, I’ve scrapped one and completed about three of them, so I guess I should probably get on that. Here’s a recap of what I’ve done so far.
Have you ever heard of orange wine?
Durham has an amazing little wine bar downtown called Bar Brunello. The owner, Esteban, is the real deal, having received a “Rising Star Sommelier Award” from the New York-based culinary magazine StarChefs and having trained with the International Sommelier Guild. It was here that Nick and I first discovered – and ultimately fell in love with – orange wines.
I’m still participating in the March Photo a Day Challenge, but because my Instagram photos feed into the blog widget about 1/3 of the way down the page for your viewing convenience, I’ve decided to post a weekly recap of photos instead of trying to post them here every day. So here are days 9-20 for this year’s challenge
Merry Christmas Eve to all those who celebrate! You should also know that today is my dad’s birthday (happy birthday, daddy!) and my birthday is in exactly one week, so December is one of my favorite months.
This is one of those easy outfits that I love because it’s casual but looks like you put a lot of time and effort into it when really it only took you 5 minutes to get dressed! Cute tops and cardigans are one of my staples because you can always switch them up without getting bored. Today’s cardigan is wine/burgundy (I never know what we’re calling this color, but I hate the term oxblood so I refuse to call it that one) but next week I could wear it with a mustard cardi (like this) or a green cardigan. The possiblities are endless when you have as many cardigans as I do!
And now for the bloopers – you get two of them: That face!
This is either a sneeze or a hair flip. Probably a hair flip.
